Arrival of the Brothers of the Christian Schools in St. Etienne
With the opening of the first school. 1805 saw the beginning of 200 years of Lasallian educational in Saint-Etienne.
Creation of the boarding school St Louis on Désiré Claude Street
Creation of the Ste Barbe vocational school
The Brothers founded the first professional school in Saint-Etienne, on rue Sainte-Barbe, then moved to rue Franklin and built new workshops.
Merger of the Saint-Louis and Sainte-Barbe establishments
A new school complex was created that includes a primary and secondary school, a general and technological high school, a vocational high school and a higher education campus.
Devolution of guardianship
Saint-Louis High School rejoined the Lasallian system, Saint-Louis - Sainte-Barbe school complex joins the La Salle network to share all its educational values.
